Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated August 1, 2026

Launch Library and Guided Launch

You may request a program-fee refund within seven calendar days after purchase if you have not completed more than one lesson and have not downloaded protected course materials. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. After that point, program fees are nonrefundable except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Business Buildout deposit

The $5,000 Business Buildout deposit may be refunded when a written request is received before the required strategy call and before customized implementation work begins. Once either has occurred, the deposit is applied to the reserved capacity and work performed and is nonrefundable except where applicable law requires otherwise. The remaining balance and schedule are confirmed in the written implementation scope.

Third-party charges

Government filing fees, examination fees, professional-provider charges, insurance premiums, bond costs, software subscriptions, advertising spend, payment-processing costs where lawful, and other third-party expenses are not Institute program fees and are not refundable by the Institute.

Cancellation and access

You may stop participating at any time by written notice. Cancellation ends future access and support on the confirmed date but does not automatically create a refund or erase an amount already due under an agreed implementation scope. We may cancel and issue a full or proportional refund when the Institute cannot provide the purchased program, subject to work already delivered and applicable law.

How to request a refund or cancellation

Email admissions@thecontractorinstitute.com with your name, application number, purchase email, program, purchase date, and request. We will confirm receipt and provide a written decision after reviewing payment, program activity, downloads, reserved capacity, completed work, and the applicable agreement.

Pre-launch legal review

This policy is the Institute's operating policy and should be reviewed by California counsel before accepting public payments.
