Education and implementation support

The Contractor Institute is an independent educational and implementation-support program. It is not the Contractors State License Board, is not affiliated with or endorsed by CSLB, and does not issue licenses or determine eligibility.

No legal, tax, insurance, or financial advice

Lessons, templates, checklists, reviews, coaching, and referrals provide general educational guidance. They are not a substitute for advice from an attorney, CPA, tax professional, insurance producer, financial professional, safety professional, or government agency familiar with your facts. Referrals remain independent, and you decide whether to hire them.

Current official information controls

Licensing rules, forms, fees, classifications, examination policies, tax requirements, insurance requirements, and other standards can change. Students must verify material decisions with the current official source. CSLB makes the final determination on licensing applications and qualifying experience.

No promised outcome

Program admission, completion, coaching, documents, websites, referrals, or implementation work do not guarantee examination success, license issuance, revenue, profitability, leads, financing, insurance placement, or business performance. Examples and projections are illustrative unless expressly identified as verified results.

Student responsibility

You are responsible for the truth and completeness of every filing, agreement, representation, advertisement, financial decision, and submission made in your name. Do not submit a form or sign a regulated document until you understand and approve it.

Use the official path

Begin with the current CSLB applicant guidance, then use the Institute to organize and implement the work.
